my stay at this so-called hotel was an absolute disaster. no hot water and the carpets looked like they hadn't seen a vacuum in ages. i expected a complimentary upgrade for all the trouble, but surprise, surprise—none was offered. i almost thought of praising the room, but honestly, how could i? totally regret my visit.

My stay was quite forgettable—while the Executive Suite was spacious, I had promised a full refund for another issue, and it never came through. Disappointed!

A charming escape with quirks
The location is perfectly situated for exploring the scenic Cotswold Way, and I cherished the peaceful ambiance of the surroundings, making it a lovely retreat.
The lack of heating in the room was unpleasant, and I encountered issues with dinner availability and limited breakfast options due to staffing.

missingWrote a review on 02 Novclean roomhandy kitchenetteheating inconvenience
The Deluxe King Room showcased decent space and clean furnishings that held promise for a comfortable stay. Having a room with a compact kitchenette was a handy feature for those who enjoy late-night snacks or drinks.
Heating proved to be a major inconvenience—no central heating, and the portable heaters barely cut it. Lack of breakfast options left us scrambling, especially after a power outage rendered our electric heater useless—no tea, no breakfast. The shower setup was somewhat frustrating, making it less than ideal for a relaxing wash. the evening atmosphere fell flat as the bar closed early with little ambiance to enjoy afterward.

Just a reliable pick for a quick weekend visit in Stonehouse (Gloucestershire) with very good value for money. The room was clean upon arrival, which was a nice touch for our stay. Bring your own breakfast supplies to avoid any morning hassles.
